Terms and Conditions – Hire Agreement for GV Limousines

Thank you for choosing GV Limousines, our family run business is located in Numurkah Victoria and by hiring our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. DEPOSIT/BOND
  • All bookings will be required to pay a booking deposit of $100 unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Cash or Direct Deposit accepted.
  • By making payment of your booking deposit, it is deemed that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
  • Deposits are non-refundable in the event that the client cancels within 48 hours.
  • This booking deposit will come off the total cost of your hire booking.
  • BOND is $200 – refer to clause 10
  1. PAYMENT
  • Full Payment for booking is required 30 days prior to the event.
  • If your event is sooner than this, full payment will be required upon booking or by the date requested by GV Limousines.
  • Full Payment is acceptance of the terms and conditions listed here.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of booking will not be refunded.
  1. HIRE AGREEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Our service hire agreements are for 18 years +
  • Our services are available for ALL ages – car seats & baby capsule arrangements can be discussed upon booking if required
  • The Booking Party will be responsible for the conduct of all passengers.
  • GV Limousines reserves the right to terminate the booking immediately, without refund if passengers become unruly or abusive.
  1. ALCOHOL & SMOKING
  • Smoking/Vaping/Illicit Drugs are prohibited inside GV Limousines vehicles
  • GV Limousines reserves the right to terminate the booking if this occurs without refund.
  • Drunk & Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated and will result in the booking being terminated – at the drivers discretion.
  • Alcohol is allowed for consumption in the rear of our vehicles only.
  • The Liquor Control Act 1988 states that no alcohol is to be consumed if it is a school-based function.
  • Any passenger showing signs of drunk & disorderly behaviour will be dropped at a safe place to find alternate transport.
  1. PASSENGER CAPACITY
  • Each vehicle has a capacity limit that must be adhered to.
  • Chrysler Stretch Limousine #1 – 10 in the back, 1 in the front + driver
  • Chrysler Stretch Limousine #2 – 10 in the back, 1 in the front + driver
  • Town Car – 3 in the back seat, 1 in the front + driver
  • Sprint Convertible – 3 in the back seat, 1 in the front + driver
  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times as per government regulations.
  1. ACCESSIBILITY
  • Our Chrysler Stretch Limousines are long, therefore access to some venues, suburban streets and driveways may be restricted and pickup/drop-offs at the front door may not be achievable.
  • Our drivers reserve the right to refuse passage to any venue that they deem unsafe to the vehicle or passengers.
  1. PHOTOGRAPHY
  • We LOVE photos of our vehicles and your events. Please note that our drivers will be taking images/videos during your booking for use on our social media and website. 
  • Copyright for these images belongs to GV Limousines and they are available free of charge to the person responsible for the hire.
  • We encourage all our guests to share their experiences and tag @gvlimousines
  • Please advise GV Limousines prior to the event if you would prefer no footage to be published.
  1. CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
  • All changes to a booking schedule MUST be communicated to GV Limousines via email.
  1. OVERTIME
  • If your booking goes overtime due to customer request, or parties lack of punctuality, charges of $150 per 30 mins or part thereof will apply. This will be taken out of your bond payment ($200)
  • Overtime rates will not apply for unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or driver error.
  1. DAMAGE
  • Damage or soiling of the cars caused by the party (including upholstery damage, spillage, soiling and broken glassware) will be charged to the hiring customer.
  • You, the hirer, agree that all follow-up charges for excessive damage be paid ASAP.
  • If additional cleaning and sanitising is required – an extra cleaning fee of $200 will be required. damage at cost.
  • Any repair costs will be invoiced to the booking customer if this EXCEEDS the bond paid. This will be referred to a Debt Collection agency if not paid within 7 days.
  • GV Limousines will assess the vehicle and discuss with party once the vehicle has been cleaned & reviewed.
